About the Role

Do you want to become a parking attendant and are looking for your next challenge? As a parking attendant, you will work with parking supervision on private and municipal land. Your responsibility is to promote traffic safety on the roads, increase traffic flow, and improve the living environment, and you do this by ensuring that parking regulations are followed. You will have a free job but with an important responsibility.

You will for example:

• Ensure that parking regulations are followed on private and municipal land.
• Proactively assist our customers with parking-related questions.

Requirements Specification

It is an advantage if you have municipal parking attendant training, but it is not a requirement. We train the right people. We also see that you have a high school education with passing grades from the first year in Swedish and English. Since you will be traveling between different locations in your role, a B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, you must have passing grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and English and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security review according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
